This book changed my understanding of the world. I can’t go too much into detail of the meat and potatoes without giving it away. The book reads like a novel. If you have always heard about climate change, if you’ve known about, if you want to help prevent it, but have no idea where to start or you have family and friends who don’t believe it exists, but you don’t know how to explain it well then this is the book for you. My favorite books are the ones that interweave cultural relevance and history into scientific research and this book delivers. It’s so inspiring.
This book changed the way I eat food, how I view food, and my overall diet. It’s a wonderful scientific, but also culturally relevant with commentary on sociological issues book. I love the way he weaves culture into food and explains something the “diet industry” has made complicated for so many centuries. Diet is really simple when we think about. We havebeen blinded by advertisements
and gimmicks.
This book changed the way I look at myself and others. I always assumed I was an extrovert because I’m outgoing and hyper, but I discovered I’m much closer to being an introvert. I value my alone time and that’s when I get my energy. It broadened my understanding of not just the individual, but how groups and society’s operate. A fascinating read about the dynamics of personality
that are often ignored.
This book changed my happiness for the better and my ability to find meaning in a harsh and fast-paced world. A book that will leave you with meaning. Frankl is able to explain what’s important in this world in a beautiful and heart wrenching way. If you feel lost, or unsure, or you have questions then this is the book for you.
This book changed my mind. I received a bachelor‘s of science in Neuroscience Psychology so often books in that genre fall short for me. Not this one! It even had a chemistry section. This book completely consumed me. A page turner! Disclaimer: I have heard people say it was difficult to understand or slow so it’s definitely for people with a love in psychology, chemistry,
biology, etc
